Meet Rachel (Rae) Estapa
Rachel (Rae) Estapa (she/they) is creator of More to Love Yoga, a practice devoted to body-acceptance. As a certified Kripalu teacher and wellness coach, Rachel has the personal experience and professional tools to support people in their healing process. For over a decade, she has been a leading voice for plus-size visibility in yoga and wellness. Rae offers More to Love Yoga classes In the Boston Area and has been on the faculty of Cambridge Center for Adult Education and Arlington Community Education. They have partnered with Harvard University, Kripalu Center for Yoga, Salem State University, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and many other prominent public institutions. Their work has been profiled in The Boston Globe, New York Times, NPR, Forbes and many more.
Rae has also been a vocal supporter of Massachusetts legislation to add weight as a protected class, testifying on the record to advance numerous Bills. In 2024, Rae was awarded a the ShwartzTeaching for Diversity grant, offered by Kripalu.
A Boston native, Rae lives in Somerville with husband Adam, and together, own and operate Perception Optical in East Arlington MA.
